HOLLOWNESS

I wake up dominated by a profound sadness

Fatigue engraves on my worn face

I take my blanket and pull it up to cover my head

My sadness is a hollowness, I can’t tell you what’s worse

Sometimes my hollowness is a shell, holding in a thousand oceans of tears

Sometimes though,

It holds a thousand pieces of glass that are wedged in between my soul and body

That’s the pain

Every time that my expectations fail

I feel empty all emotions pushed aside.

But nothing could ever be more depressing like

losing hope

Fighting till the last breath is all it takes.
